When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community, helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

meets the requirements of work, health and safety (WHS), anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes

Students attending Narrabeen Sports High School MUST wear the correct school uniform every day. Participation in a range of lesson activities is dependent on correct attire.

Compulsory uniform items include;

Formal School Uniform - School white polo/shirt, grey shorts or school skirt, white socks and black leather lace up shoes
Sports School Uniform - School sport polo and school sport shorts with sports runners for designated sport days and PDHPE practical lessons.

There are no summer/winter uniform changeover dates. At Narrabeen we encourage students to dress accordingly to the current conditions. This common sense approach ensures students are in uniform and comfortable all year round. Students can wear long sleeved white tops (no logos) under their school polo/shirt or black tights (no leggings) with the school skirts for additional warmth.

All articles of clothing, personal possessions and shoes should be clearly labelled with the student's name.

On any occasion a student attends school out of uniform, they must produce a note of explanation signed by a parent. If the breaches of the uniform code continue, students will receive consequences and parents will be contacted to resolve the problem. To keep our school safe, Hoodies are not to be worn and will be confiscated.
