We offer a rich curriculum that includes academic excellence, visual and performing arts, vocational pathways, and strong leadership and wellbeing programs. As a recognised Olympic Pathway Partner, we also provide outstanding opportunities for student-athletes through our Sports Academy.
Our teaching is focused on meaningful, evidence-based learning tailored to each student’s needs, with a strong emphasis on individual growth and high expectations. Through the NEST Collaboration, we also provide innovative K–12 pathways that nurture intellectual, creative, social, and physical potential.
With passionate teachers, upgraded facilities, and a supportive school culture, we prepare students for success in school and beyond.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school community.
Heidi Currie, Principal of Narrabeen Sports High School
Narrabeen Sports High School is an Olympic Pathway School!
Strict criteria set by the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) must be met for a school to be recognised as an Australian Olympic Pathway School. These schools demonstrate a strong commitment to developing elite athletes through high-quality programs and clear pathways in Olympic sports.
Narrabeen Sports High School is proud to be an Australian Olympic Pathway School, providing students with access to supportive training environments, specialist coaching, wellbeing support, and opportunities to balance academic learning with high-performance sport. Our programs are designed to nurture talent, build resilience, and support students as they pursue excellence both in and beyond the classroom.
Hear from our own Olympian
We are especially proud to have our own Olympian, Ruby Trew, who represented Australia at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in Women’s Skateboarding. Ruby is currently training towards the 2028 Olympics, with her sights set on surfing.
“When I come back to school from training, students will say, ‘Oh, that’s the Olympic girl.’ All my friends are at NSHS, and the school is so supportive of me.”
Ruby Trew – Olympian and current NSHS student
As an Olympic Pathway School, NSHS is committed to supporting aspiring athletes to dream big, work hard, and pursue their goals within a nurturing and inclusive school community.
