COURSES OF STUDY
Our broad, innovative curriculum and highly-skilled staff motivate and engage our teenage learners resulting in Narrabeen Sports High School being the school of choice for our community. We prepare our students for their future as they learn to confidently use information communication technologies and to critically assess information, which challenges their knowledge and understanding of the world.

Students in Years 7 and 8 who do not elect to be involved with the Northern Sydney Scholastic and Sports Academy will be involved in computing lessons, art or sport.
In Years 9 and 10, our students study a core range of subjects comprising of English, Mathematics, Science, Australian History, Australian Geography and Personal Development/Health/Physical Education. In addition, students have the opportunity to select two elective subjects from the vast range that is offered:

The third elective line in years 9-10 offers students the choice of either the structured program in Work Education/ Project Based Learning / Performance Project / Big History or the Northern Sydney Scholastic and Sports Academy.
Narrabeen Sports High School is accredited with the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards meaning that students can qualify for the award of the NSW Higher School Certificate. In Years 11 and 12, students must study English and then select five other subjects.
