Communication
Our school has several methods of communication to our students, parents and the community.
These include email, text messaging, parent portal and Social Media. Our school Newsletter is issued in Weeks 5 & 10 of each School Term and can be found on our website.

Sentral Parent Portal
The Sentral parent portal allows parents to;
● View and provide a reason for your child’s absence
● View your child’s timetable
● View your child’s learning and other support plans (if relevant)
● View student daily notices
● View parent notifications
● Access school policies and procedures
● Access and print your child’s academic reports
● Book Parent Teacher interviews
You can access this via your desktop or by downloading the Sentral for Parents App.
SchoolBytes Parent Portal
The SchoolBytes parent portal allows parents to;
● Make school payments online (including paying for multiple siblings at once)
● Use a family credit to pay for school fees
● Download a receipt for payments made
● View all historical payments
● Complete and submit digital permission notes
● View the status of all permission notes

Google Guardian
Parents are invited to receive email summaries about their child’s work in class. This summary may include;
● Missing work - work not turned in when the summary was sent
● Upcoming work - work that’s due in the upcoming week
● Class activity - announcements, assignments and questions recently posted by teachers
Social Media
Narrabeen Sports High School uses Facebook and Instagram. Follow these accounts for all your school news including updates on school facilities, what is currently happening at school, pictures of events, Faculty news and ‘good news’ stories.
