"Sky gazers were treated to the spectacular sight of a blush-coloured moon above Sydney as the last total lunar eclipse Australians will witness for three years illuminated the night sky on Tuesday night.
The total lunar eclipse, or “blood moon”, began at 8.09pm in Sydney and NSW, as the sun, Earth and moon aligned, and the shadow of the Earth fell across the moon." (Gorrey, 2022)
