Narrabeen Sports High School today said 'sayonara' to the students and teachers of Tokushima-Bunri High School in Japan. Visiting us for the third consecutive year, students and teachers spent two weeks participating in our school curriculum and experiencing Australian culture. Each Japanese student was allocated a student buddy and their school timetable included:
ESL classes
Food Technology
Mathematics
Australian History and Geography
Visual Arts
Industrial Arts and
Science.
During their stay students improved their English skills, grew in confidence and explored Australian culture, principal Lance Berry said. "International students provide a mutually enriching experience for our school and we especially value our long standing relationship with Tokushima-Bunri," he said.
Narrabeen wishes their friends from Tokushima-Bunri High School a safe journey home.
